Can I just start by saying how much I love a light dusting of snow? Â It’s gorgeous and to me, it spells holiday. Â In Ottawa it snows and let’s face it, if I were to be afraid of photographing in the snow I’d be in trouble. Â Embracing the snow and how beautiful it can be is what I do – and thankfully, so too did the boys I worked with this morning. Â It’s fun, right? Â Snow is fluffy, soft, tastes good if you’re so inclined and it’s looks gosh darn pretty in photographs. Â I just love it and luckily for me, I live in the right city for it.
This morning we were expecting some snow on the ground but what we got was much more. Â We got mini snow squalls during the shoot! Â It was crazy and rather unexpected. Â I thought for sure the kids would be bothered and want some shelter, but not these guys. They were great.
This is my fourth – or maybe fifth time photographing this family. Â When we first met, little Tristan was just a tiny baby. Â And now look at him? He’s 2.5 years old! I’ve had the pleasure of photographing them so many times and can tell you, I just love it. They’re such a wonderful group to work with….already, I can’t wait to see them again 🙂
Here are a few of their sneak peeks!
